Your mission
Midokura  was born in January 2010 as a true global tech start-up together with the developers of the high-speed distributed DB Dynamo and genius engineers who were architects in the early days of Amazon, has been a member of the Sony Group since June 2019, and has been working with Midokura's distributed computing technology/ Midokura is taking on the challenge of building a next-generation Edge AI Platform to compete with GAFA, aiming to fuse Midokura's distributed computing/virtualisation technology with Sony's advanced sensor technology.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for business development of edge and cloud sensing system platforms using Sony's* world's first AI-enabled intelligent vision sensor.
  • Work with the Japanese and global sales teams and partners to co-sell, identify emerging and potential customer requirements and define requirements.
  • Engage partner sales organisations, channels and end customers to promote SSS/Midokura revenue opportunities.
  • Establish a strategic business development plan for the targeted market segment and ensure that it is aligned with the strategic direction of the SSS/Midokura.
  • Understand the technical and competence requirements of partners to deliver results for customers.
  • Ability to identify key data to manage the alliance, prepare and present business reviews to the CxO-level management teams of both partners and SSS/Midokura.
Your profile
  • 5+ years' IT platform-related Partner Sales experience
  • Ability to develop and manage partners. Experience in implementing successful market entry strategies.
  • Experience in implementing coordinated measures and proposals with business partners in corporate sales
  • Strong initiative to set your own targets and drive the business in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to engage and influence CxO-level executives
  • Experience of using structured programmes to generate revenue through partners
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Japanese at mother tongue level and English language skills at daily conversational level or above.
Requirements
  • Experience of working for or closely with a global tech company
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field (equivalent work experience is acceptable)
  • Experience working in enterprise IT, professional services, outsourcing and cloud implementation.
  • Experience working within the AI/cloud/IoT category
