Tech Alliance Communicator

Your mission
 Midokura became part of Sony Semiconductor Solutions and is now a member of the Sony Group, conducts research and development with the aim of realising a new sensor network centred on image sensors, armed with advanced edge AI distributed processing software technology.
You will work to expand your business by using open source strategies and community collaboration to expand the ecosystem together with this technology and the peripheral technologies that make up edge AI and IoT, and by making contributions to the business.
Responsibilities
  • Work related to collaboration with the open source community and implementation of PoCs.
  •  Work related to participation in open community meetings and exhibiting open source-related technology demonstrations.
  •  OSPO work to promote efficient implementation of upstream / downstream development in collaboration with national and international engineering teams.
  •  Research and investigation of the latest technologies such as edge, AI, cloud, networks, sensors, etc.
Your profile
  • Basic knowledge in the following technical areas: IoT, Network, AI 3+ years' experience in developing new corporate IT platform-related projects
  • Experience working in corporate R&D (R&D engineers and managers)
  • Experience in setting up new businesses using information technology
  • Japanese at mother tongue level and English language skills at daily conversational level or above.
Welcomed skills/experience:

  • Experience of working with open source
  • community management
  • OSPO (Open Source Product Office)
  • Mentenna.
