In order to regain the supremacy of enterprises and to provide new added value that cannot be provided only through the use of cloud infrastructure, Midokura aims to provide an innovative distributed Edge AI Platform while keeping an eye on developments in low/no code development environments and trends in OS standardisation for new edge devices such as RISC-V.
This will enable AI developers and AI operators to more easily develop/implement/operate AI applications utilising edge devices, using any sensing data as input values, and also make it easier to perform AI learning/inference in real-time, whereas previously they had to rely on batch processing. In other words, real-time, event-driven edge applications like those in the movies can now be easily obtained.
